HR Tech Solutions grew out of the need to provide technology consulting and resources to Employer Healthcare Broker Firms. Through the experience of both partners, there was a visible struggle and sometimes impossibility for Brokers to obtain new clients and maintain existing clients without technology. The “right” technology can be a “game changer” but these firms are not technology experts. HR Tech Solutions serves as the technology arm by providing consulting services, system builds, carrier connection builds & support, benefit administration systems, training and on-going customer service support for clients.
We offer implementation and technology solutions for Employers as well. HR Tech Solutions will consult on selecting the right system, assist in integrating new systems with your team, and provide ongoing maintenance and training.
Leslie has been involved in various forms of Benefits Administration and Human Resources during her 25 years in the insurance industry. She has served as a Human Resource Manager and Large Account Manager for a Third-Party Administrator. In addition, Leslie also worked as a Large Account Case Manager for an Enrollment Firm where her main responsibility was coordinating open enrollment communication and coordinating a variety of benefit administration enrollment platforms. In 2008 Leslie began working as an independent contractor serving as a liaison between benefit insurance carriers and their clients to provide strategies and solutions that improve performance and employee satisfaction. Having spent over 10 years working with clients and brokers, it became clear that implementing a robust benefit administration system was the key to streamlining processes — and in turn, putting the focus on offering competitive compensation and benefit packages to employees. It was then that she began the journey with Deanna to develop HR Tech Solutions. Using both of their talents and expertise to bring best-in-class Benefit Administration, HRIS System Consulting and HR Consulting to the Brokerage community allows them to focus on what they do best — delivering high-value technology solutions for their clients.
Deanna is the President of BWHR Consulting, a human resource consulting firm in Southeast Michigan and a Partner in HR Tech Solutions, LLC. She has 20 years of human resource experience, providing strategic solutions for all areas including but not limited to compliance, labor relations, benefit administration, HRIS best practices, training, and payroll. Prior to starting BWHR Consulting, Deanna worked in human resources across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and IT. Her last position was the HR Director of a large local public healthcare facility with four unions. Technology consulting, implementation and support has been a primary focus for Deanna throughout her career. She brings an in-depth understanding of HR Practices and experience in over 25 HRIS/Benefit Administration systems to both HR Tech Solutions and BWHRC. Deanna is the Co-President of Oak Mac SHRM, a local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management.
